David has been working with the Ministry to lift asset management capability across the health sector during 2020 and into 2021. This included developing an asset management policy and strategy, templates for DHBs, levels of service, a presentation at the NAMS committee, and assistance with developing fit for purpose assessments. Consultancy also led to short term acting team manager role, and the AM Policy and Strategy were accepted as case studies for the IIMM 2020
